Yea, nowadays, wedge-platform-heel shoes are really in! Not the really high ones, but the subtle ones, like those yellow ones. Subtle straps are in as well. Really strappy shoes look too tacky. Flats are out--everyone has them...

Kitten heel sandals are still adorable. You should get them--they're really comfortable to walk in, and make your feet look smaller, whereas flats often make them look bigger...
