I am really sick of my parents always asking me for help... not once have they offered help or even helped me when I asked... they dont even understand what I am going through... they think they are perfect and that everyone in their life lives a perfect life... grrr

yes parents suck at times but thats just how it goes. if u think about it ur parents help u by keeping a roof over ur head and food in ur stomach. hMM...but i can understand what ur saying. parents always think they know what ur going thru when they dont cuz they dont take the time to actually listen. but haha thinking that ur parents think they live a perfect life is just nonsense...im sure they think the same about u. parents will be parents and kids will be kids...its just how it goes.

no, they just give me a place to live... my mom hasnt went grocery shopping for 3 weeks and they just go out to dinner without asking me... it drives me nuts... but once i fix my car (next friday), I'll be out of here

If your parents have seriously ignored you all this time and not done anything for you, get moving and don't look back. Give them a phone number that they can call you at just in case, but don't tell them where you've gone or what you plan on doing. Good luck.

i know how yOo feel .. and asian parents, well most, are just as worst. they ALWAYS think you`re talking back at them, they`re always tryin to do "what`s best for yOo" .. well n/m, i guess it goes with all parents but yeh. i know how yOo feel

well my mom isnt really like that... but my dad! he always expects wut beyond i could do... i feel that he asks too much from me...

yea, i hate it when they think they're perfect in every way. that they're always right. when they expect so much of you and blame you for whatever. even when they dont acknowledge your presence. just leave them behind. so what if they're family? what's family when you cant lean on them when you're in neeed of it? even stangers are better than your own family. they could be your family if you wanted to...

my dad thinks im a computer nerd.. well i am kinda?. .but i dont know everything.. so when he asks me for help.. i say "i dont know" .. and he says " gosh u dont know anything! " ..... he doesnt either.. so he should hush! lol...

when my nephews here.. i cant go anywhere!! .. i even have to miss my friend's birthday bc of him.. while my dad sits at home and do nothing but watch tv.. i gotta watch my nephew.. gRRr..

try telling your parents what you're going through and that maybe sometimes you need help too. everythings not always just about them.
