Yesterday, probably even this morning, my ipod was working perfectly fine, but then it suddenly refused to turn off, no matter how long or hard I pressed the play button, it won't turn off. I don't know what to do...anyone know what to do?

what i did is i let the battery die out.
mine said something weird

Eh, doesn't matter now. I finally stopped ignoring the messages and updated the software, and it's all better now.

you can restart it by pressing the Menu and Select button...and if its not then than its Select and Play/Pause
