i am so incredibly pissed right now, oh my dear lord
so my brother tells me that my guy friend is telling everyone that i'm his girl. that is ridiculous! i do not like him that way at all and right now, i don't think i even like him as a friend or a human being anymore.
so then he signs on and this happens:
me (12:08:58 AM): hey!!
ass (12:09:04 AM): hey1!
me (12:09:08 AM): are you telling people that i'm going out with you??
ass(12:09:15 AM): no why?
me (12:09:27 AM): because my brother told me that you are
ass(12:09:38 AM): huh?
ass(12:09:45 AM): neva even seen him
me (12:09:59 AM): he told me that people are telling him that you claim that we are going out
ass (12:10:10 AM): huh????
ass is away at 12:11:12 AM.
ass returned at 12:11:14 AM.
ass (12:11:17 AM): brb
he can't even deny it! what an ass! there isn't any school next week and he's leaving tomorrow anyway for vacation. how can i confront him and what should i say??

Ugh. How spineless of him. I wouldn't even give him the time a day. Don't even give him the satisfaction of a confrontation.

I agree. Or, you can force it out of him.

Well, he said "no, why?"--isn't that denying it? Are you absolutely positive what your brother heard was the truth?

If I were you, I honestly wouldn't care much. Depending on how fast the word spreads. No one has actually seen you two together so how can you guys be going out? Anyways, just be patient until he returns.

hmm...maybe online isn't the way to do it...perhaps you should just forget about him the next week or whatever..i know it's hard but just keep that off your mind because it's not really worth spoiling your week off of school. then, when school returns just talk to him upfront about it..theres no way he can go "away" when he's right there in front of you...therefore if he still doesn't give you an upfront answer then you can just pound the crap out of him

get confirmation without only relying on your brother's word, maybe ask some other people.. it might not be what it seems. don't jump to conclusions.

smack the f**k out of him. no, dont do that. haha.
hmm..just ignore him. if hes telling others youre going out with him, then im sure those people he told will be asking you. just say no and tell the people who come up to you in the future that hes stupid.

sure he said no but then he goes "huh? huh???" then disappears so that's not really a valid denial. he didn't even defend himself either. i know of at least one mutual friend they have. i don't know his friends and my brother has friends all over the place. plus, my brother would have no reason to lie to me.

word spreads fast, especially if it's about me. with my last boyfriend, people i didn't know and haven't even seen before would look at me and say to each other, that's ______'s girlfriend. but anyway, people have seen us together. that's why people have informed my brother. my brother's friends have also said that the guy says that i'm his girl.

Just tell him to stop saying that crap, and it's really immature of him to do that in the first place. If anyone comes up to you about it, just correct them. Causing a scene is just going to keep him going. Show him that he doesn't matter to you.

Pff.. That guy is so self-serving!
Whenever someone asks you if you two are together, you should reply, "In his dreams"

I'm not saying your brother lied, but it's not implausible that the rumor he heard was inaccurate. Thus is the nature of rumors.

Whether it was him or wasn't him..
You should tell him the next time you see him..
"I'm not sure whether that rumor was true or not,
but if it is, I don't want something like that getting out to people,
because I don't see you that way/don't do it anymore.."
if he doesn't listen and that rumor is still going around,
THEN you take some exterme measures..

How do you know that your brother is even tellin the truth? Sometimes older brothers can play pranks like that. Have you actually had people from school tell you that that is what they heard him say?

my brother is in his twenties, that would be a bit pathetic if he was wasting his time playing pranks on me. plus, that ass isn't an idiot, if he told people at school it would obviously get back to me since there aren't too many people in my school. so by telling his friends, who i don't know, he probably didn't think that i'd ever hear it.
