so today i talked to my boyfriend at 6 a.m. and he agreed to come pick me up after class. well later on in the morning from like 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. he was texting me when he suddenly stopped so i figured he went to sleep since he works graveyard at his job. well later when i called him to come pick me up from class he had his phone off so i got really pissed and found a different ride to the mall so that i could pick up my pay check. well right when i get there i recieve a phone call and when i answer its the county jail telling me that my boyfriend has been arrested and that i needed to verify some information. after telling them what they needed to know i found out that he was involved with some felonys and i didn't pay attention after that cause i practically broke down and cried. what sucks is i'm allowed to go into the court room however my mother won't allow cause i still live under her roof. what's even worse is he can't call me cause i can't recieve collect calls on my cell phone and i know he's tried to call me like 3 times now. it also turns out he was with his best friend so i hung out with his best friend's girlfriend and his other best friend. we've been calling constantly trying to get as much information as possible. but me and the other girl have been wondering if we should stay in a relationship like this or not? i mean we love them but they could be in jail for 2 to 5 years and that's a long time and we're still young so i don't know. he has so many good qualities and a few bad ones just like anyother person so i dunno. please help?

What's he in jail for? 2 to 5 years? That's a long time to wait. How long have you been going out with him?

well i was just informed that he's being released tonight so i guess i'll just talk things out with him. but i wish he wouldn't be so stupid again. i dunno should i still stay in the relationship though knowing that he could do something again?

you have to think about the future. are you willing to and love him that much that you would wait for him? a couple of years are pretty long, and that's alot of commitment if you want to be with this guy. just be careful.

I would wait until you have some definite decisions made. Don't freak out yet, they haven't been charged or anything yet so wait until that.

if you love him and you know he needs you... then maybe you could wait for him and still listen to your mom.

I seriously don't think you guys are going to last, and this is just a guess or a bet. I mean, at your age (I am assuming your age to be high school-ish) you're probably gonna go from one guy to the other in awhile.

You need to somehow get to talk to your boyfriend, tell him that you love him, and that you will stay with him (unless the crime is BAD)
