entertainment needs more.
so; post your thoughts, a new arrangement (be sure to include where the threads from teh old posts would go)

There needs to be serioues reorganization. I liked Justin's idea for the coffeshop the most out of all I've heard. And I honestly think a books forum would thrive.

Debate is rather stagnant right now.
no new debates. mostly just repeating old ones to newbies.
and any new ones are mostly current events.

thanks all for this discussion. please read:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...dpost&p=1895059by that, i mean: instead of saying 'oh, lets add this, take this out, merge this and that together', coming up with a complete set of forum structure, focusing on the 'community center' forums. although i applaud the thought that goes into the individual suggestions, why i dont like them is because they tend not to take into consideration how the rest of the forums are organized. uniformity is key to a more user friendly forums.. which is what we are striving for no?

the thing about coffeeshop is it would be like having the age seperations, as i think older people would be more gravitated towards that.

-coffeeshop: a place to discuss books, school, current events, etc.

would prefer it be one large lump tho. would mean more traffic for everything.

I think if Literature is going to be implemented rather than Books, it would make sense if Writing would be in there as well.
I like the idea of dividing up Entertainment into Books, Movies, Television, and Anime/Manga.
I would have liked the idea of Current/Events and Debate together. Too bad all of Current Events is in the Lounge.
Sports would be nice in Entertainment... And leisure sports can go under Hobbies. Interests needs some cleaning out as it has been stated, but cb3 is our main priority right now.
Edit\\
Actually, I got a chance to look at Interests and Entertainment. I like the way it is now. It'll take some time to get used to, but the way they are currently organized is great.

For the lockers, I was thinking, "Since most girls/guys reply to the others' topics, why not just have one generalized locker?" like many other members have already suggested. Gender-specific topics relating to periods or whatever could go into a subforum within the lockers with a rule having people specify in the title which gender their topic is directed to in the thread ("MALE" or "FEMALE" before the topic title). Not sure if that would work.

Combining Current Events/Debate would be funny. The current debate topics won’t be easy to search. I have a feeling that people will post millions of current events which would cover the debate topic.

I think it's better to have 2 separate forums for genders
than to have topic titles mentioned "male" or "female". What is the big difference?

If we're just going to label topics Male/Female, then do we really need a subforum for them? Just put them with the rest.
