ok so i've been playing around with adobe photoshop, and i'm a total beginner tongue.gif but my friends have done reeaaally nice banners, and they told me they "Vectored". can i VECTOR on adobe photoshop? and how? whistling.gif a bit stupid at this....plz help!

you can't really teach someone how to vector its something you pick up laugh.gif

TRUE vectors are not created in photoshop, as it`s a raster based program... just thought i`d say that.

Vectors are slightly easier to do in Illustrator, but they work well with Photoshop too. I believe [2]Nekked's tutorials are done with Illustrator so if you have that then they might be easier to follow.
