John Cena is loathed by 50% of the WWE fans. Internet wrestling fans want him dead. I'm not a big fan of him, I dislike him quite a bit. But this is no excuse for the stupidity of the WWE writers (bookers). Look at these ratings

January 2, 2006 3.7 (JOHN CENA IS THE CHAMPION)
January 9, 2006 4.3 (EDGE IS CHAMPION)
January 16, 2006 4.3 (EDGE IS CHAMPION)
January 23, 2006 4.5 (EDGE IS CHAMPION)

THE STUPIDITY! Ratings are soooo low with John Cena as Champion. Ratings spike drmastically when Edge wins the Championship, so what do they do> They give Cena back the championship. Unbelievable stupidity...

Personally, I think the Rated R superstar thing was stupid. I liked John Cena as a champion much better.
You could also tell Edge wasn't going to be a champion for long. He still kept the Spinner belt.

Well it's quite obvious more people liked Edge as Champion, just look at the ratings. Cena gets on like a rich, spilt 10 year old, as do most of his fans.
