i've never understood how people fall in love because of lust,
and why people pine for money because happiness is a must .
tell me please, why everything is nothing if you've already had it all,
and why the most perfect of the perfect is the one with the most flaws.
i always wondered if the world would be different if we were all one race,
and if beautiful meant ugly, would we all try to change our face ?
because the ones with the grace are the ones that are fake,
we're the ones that cant accept that we all make mistakes .
and if there were really an undo button, would we ever learn,
and if hatred was the fire, we wouldnt have to wait for hell to burn .
because hell is heaven, haven to those like us:
we, who lie when we speak the truth, and contradict every contradiction,
because the stories that we write, our diction causes friction,
and nobody can agree, because everyone is perfect,
and everyone is alike, because everyone's a misfit.
