I've tried it, and I love it. It's fun and smells good. You're not supposed to get any buzz from it anyway..

It's just an enjoyable social thing to do, with trying to make smoke circles and everything, that's all. Heh.

Once I turn 18, that's the first thing I'm buying. =)

Would you try it? Yes I would, even though it's rather hypocritical of me since I don't like smokers. Hookah, or shisha as we call it in taiwan/asia intrigues me.
What are your thoughts about it? well, after reading the wikipedia article on it, I guess there's not too much of a difference between smoking cigarettes and hookah. Even though I don't see the appeal in cigarettes, I find hookah more interesting. I guess I'll try it a few times, and I'll see.

I thought the device itself is the hukka, while shisha is the tobacco you smoke?

Anyway..that's weird. I always thought hukka was way healthier than smoking.

well, in taiwan, as i know it, just smoking hookah is called shisha

Shisha can refer to both the hookah, or the tobacco smoked in it. And no, there isn't any evidence to suggest that smoking from a hookah is any more or less healthy than smoking cigarettes or pipes.

Ahh, well, that sucks. I always thought it like, came in as water vapor, and then out as smoke. -shrugs-
