I make my own money, which if any of you guys post on the Web Hosting forum area you would know I am pretty much rolling in it. I work for my money, when I get home from school I am on the phone non-stop. I drive a new car that I paid for, and its already paid off. People think my parents pay for it all, and there wrong. I pay for some of my parents stuff. I guess they think I owe them something, they are wrong. But there is a BIG difference of making your own money and being spoiled. People at my school have the same cell phones as I do and think they can compare it to mine. They can not, there is no grater feeling then knowing that you paid for something and your parents did not.

I'm pretty upper-middle class. I wouldn't say I'm spoiled (Heck, I don't even have an iPod). I guess we're pretty wealthy, but my parents know how to save money and only spend on (mostly) important things.

I'm poor. I don't have a job and I'm not one of those people that I know of, that are really spoiled and get anything they want. I'm also not one of those people that seem to have a different outfit every day of the month! SERIOUSLY, there's people like that at my school! lol

But I mean, I wouldn't consider myself middle class either. I don't go out shopping, out to eat, etc. that often. Well okay I'm not dirt poor, but yea I consider myself below middle class. Oh well :P Yay financial aid for college! Only one of my parents work and yea...

And aside from the $20 I get everyweek, I get nothing from my mother. ( I have to milk said $20 to buy whatever I need. Clothes, Food, etc.. )

but anyway, i said i was spoiled in an earlier post. however, i am not spoiled rotten and i appreciate it that my parents buy me expensive things without me even requesting them...it kind of make me sad because they deserve so much more from me

i think the most fitting adjective would be: comfortable.

I dunno, somewhere in the middle I guess. Sometimes I get spoiled, but sometimes I am totally and utterly broke!

Chii - I shop at abercrombie (kids) lol. It's cheaper plus I can't fit the adult sizes at A&F. Plus, I get discounts at abercrombie (kids), so technically jeans to me are like $30 there. :P

je like french - Ooh I only have 7 jeans. But yea, the ones I own were bought for me, as gifts, or someone offered to buy them for me when I went shopping with them.

I don't receive money that often. Also, my parents don't make that much at all, since only my dad works and yea..
I hardly ever shop. I just shopped during sales (yay sales!), which aren't that often anyways lol. Whenever I do go to the mall, I hardly ever buy anything because I'm on a low budget as it is... Most of my clothes I buy myself anyways, with money that I save up from certain occassions, such as working during summer or winter breaks :P But I don't have a stable job at all, so yea right now I'm pretty much broke...

Oh and as for 7's... Have you ever been to Off 5th? It's like, Saks' 5th avenue, except it's an outlet store. I went there one time and scored a nice pair of 7 for all mankinds for $109 (which I didn't pay for, someone else did, as a gift). In fact, I saw the same exact pair at Nordstrom's for like.. $160. But that's about it. I've seen a pair at TJMaxx one time when I went there, but usually the jeans aren't in good condition--there's almost always something wrong with them, i.e. missing button, etc.

Financially speaking, I'm way lower than middle class.

There's something called "Middle-Class" and I'm surprised you failed to mention it.

Omgsh eveyrone calls me rich becuase i shop at abercrombie alot and beucase i have a ipod psp and ds and im lyke.uhh im not rich..oh and because i have a plasma tv but i dont considrer myself rich becuase i dont got a big house or anything.

Everyone thinks I'm rich because I live in the wealthier part of town.

But I always say, "I am not rich, I am upper middle class."

JK Rowling is rich. John Travolta is rich. Bill Gates is rich.

Therefore, I am not rich.

My parents are very frugal - I'm the complete opposite. I'm extremely spoiled, I usually get what I want, I admit. We're nowhere near "celebrity" rich, but we're very well off. We are very lucky.
