I made a purty layout and asked for constructive criticism, and all I got was "U R 2 DEEFALLT OMG N000BB LOLOLLOLOLOLOLL!!!!!!!!!!!"

Could someone please explain:

1. What this means
2. How to avoid it
3. If this would be considered "default."

Please and thank you!

:D

My advice would be to look at other layouts here and compare them to see how your layout was default. I don't think that "noob this" "noob that" is a nice way of communicating, but in truth, the layout you posted was very simple. That's not an insult and certainly not "hate."

Also, the link you provided had an ad removal and it is my undestanding that cB does not support ad removal.

Well, really most people would find it somewhat default since it's just css. You know you could've PMed me having the topic re-opened for c&c and I would've done it. :) And if you want to get somewhat of an idea of layouts that are less default, trying looking around our xanga skins section.

So default would be not putting 100% effort into it. Since we all have diferent perspectives we can't really tell if someone put or tried to put 100% effor into the layout. If you tried your best then that was fine. I'm sorry if I came off jumping to conclusions.
Yeah, well I hope I cleared most of it up, and if you'd like the topic re-opened I'd be happy to do so.

Its like adding on ordinary scripts like marquees, blink boxes, bordered entries, and colored modules.

Nah, that's fine, I just like doing noob impressions lol.

And I didn't know about the Ad Remover thingy, sorry about that.

Anywho, thanks peeps!
