MTV has a new show called "My Own". They take a person who's completely in love with a certain celebrity and pick seven people who resemble the celebrity to compete to be that person's own _______ (insert celebrity they love). It's a terrible show of course, but it is a neat idea.

So, who would you want your own of?

I would totally want my own Demetri Martin, but I think they might have trouble finding that. There's not too many people obsessed with Demetri like me...
If they couldn't find a Demetri, I'd definitely settle for Daniel Radcliffe.

My own Orlando Bloom would be nice.

Nicholas Brendon (he played Xander on Buffy). He's the perfect guy. Adorable, kind of dorky.... *sighs*

Actually, the contestants don't necessarily look like the person's idol.. I just watched it the other day and they had these white guys on the show for this girl's own Snoop Dog.

Well this show is just pretty stupid. I've seen two episodes and it has no point. And I think it is just for musical artists, not actors.

I don't like the show. I mean it seems a little wrong. It's pretty much like saying, "I only want you because you remind me of -insert celeb name-". Shouldn't you be dating people because of their unique qualities? I mean yeah, I have celebrities I like and I'd love the chance to date some of them. But I'm not going to go on a show to find someone as similar to them as possible. Sorry, not trying to offend anyone who would do this show. It's just not my thing.
