there is no layer mask option in the layer thing in cs.

for some odd reason my CS doesnt show that and i have no clue how to show it? i tried to reset all the tools but it didnt show up. does anyone have any idea to see how to put that.

Are you sure you have Photoshop CS?

WOAH. really ive always thought photoshop elemets 3.0 is the same as CS. wow i feel pretty stupid righ now. :( yeah okay im never gonna assume anything again. sorry for bothering you guys but thanks for all your help!

I can tell you, it's not. That'd be why it's got a different name... ^^U You don't have a pen tool and some of the other functions that even Photoshop 6.0 has. Elements is like kiddy photoshop.

woah really. i heard it was really good and thats why i bought it. damn what a real waste of money then :( . thats why i can never follow up on tutorials. like vectoring and blending. i still havn't found a way to blend with elements :(

Easy. o.0 Use the 300px (Or smaller, just not under 65.) soft brush in the default set to erase. It's a really good program, it's just not Photoshop.
It's much more fun to figure out how to do things though. &a lot of the tutorials are easy to pass over, as long as you're aware of what youre doing.
