Talk to him about things he likes. A tv show you both watch. A mutual liking for something. Your day. His day. Tell him a funny story. Talk about events at school. Teachers, kids, homework assignments. Movies, music. Anything.

why don't you try using a bit of small talk, and think of it this way: you've got absolutely nothing to lose by talking to him.
i_liek_sushi
and ask him how big his boner is..

he's gonna say 2 inches

you're gonna pretend it's huge and be like: "daaammn i don't know if it'll fit you bad boy, rawr!"

it works. if it doesn't, well... life's a bitch
_sarcastic_
pick up small talks, it'll gradually turn into a long convosation.
and him how his day was, or what he did this winter break.
you can go from weather to the teachers
xFaith
Ask how his day was and what his plans are for the coming days etc.
topsyturvy
Talk about teachers.

Small talk is definately an idea, also just ask him for help on certain school subjects that you know he is good at...just don't over do it.

And most importantly...be yourself. Don't change who you are and how you act even though your crushing on him.

Well, what do you like about him? He must have some interests, activities, or something else he is interested in that you like, too. It's easier to talk to someone when you know about the subject, so find something you're both interested in.

Do you guys have a class together? Have mutual friends? How do you know him? Use that for conversation.
SandRAWRz
don't talk about personal stuff..like when's your birthday?what's you sign?you live in a house or apartment?

talk about your/his interests..school food...that hard math test...etc
