A guy I knew for a year and I just hooked up, on christmas..
but I'm not too experinced with relationships I know what I want,
but not sure what to do..

This is kinda like my best friend I'm with here..
I want whatever will work out for us, (and mostly him.. )

So I'm trying to decide

Should I make this a playful relationship
and just do cutesy things with the guy..
Joke around, hugs and have fun..
So when things end we can easily
go back to what we were? And laugh about it?

Or should I be serious about us,
and if a problem should arise try to work things out,
and show how much he means to me/
deeply care about him and do what I can for him?

It's so acward, it's like ever since we been together we've
been less of best friends and more of strangers..

Should I give it time or is it best if I leave it as it was before?

well, it really depend son what you want, and i certainly cant tell you.

if you feel you want a firm relationship, then persue it as such. if you do not, persue with that in mind

why not both?
have fun and when you need to be serious then be serious.
i mean you can't just be serious all through your relationship, it's going to be boring you need some fun in there too. once in awhile do cute stuff for him to show him you still care for him.
but if you guys are becoming more of strangers, then you should talk it out with him and see what you both want in this relationship. but it's really up to you on how you want your relationship to turn out

So, what youre asking is if you should be friends with benefits, or have a serious relationships.

I think FWB ( friends w/ benefits ) arent a good thing. When you are FWB with someone else, no matter what, feelings will start to happen and someone will get hurt if the other doesnt want a relationship.

I think if you like him, try to have a serious relationship. But if you dont like him, dont mess with his heart.

I say both. Be playful, like you were when you were only friends. But make sure you let him know that you do really deeply care about him, especially when a problem arises.

I can see being playful isn't going to cut it anymore..
It seems like we both secretly desire a serious relationship..

And we're in quite a pickle
because I seem to have doubted him when he said
"you're special.. I wouldn't want to do anything like leave you.."

and err it took a lot of guts saying something like that
and I just offended him by somewhat telling him "I don't believe you"..

I think he's a bit mad..
But I'll try to handle it on my own from here..
