i could tell you how to not make it pop up when you start your computer if that'll help

goto start >run>type in msconfig>start up tab>find the program and uncheck it and push okay

oh okay thanks! _smile.gif

but when I went to the Programs folder I noticed there some of the programs I had uninstalled a while back were still there. I deleted them from there but I've done that before and they keep coming back. my question is how do i permanently get rid of them?

a program doesn't always lie within the "program files" folder, you should be able to disable it using the msconfig suggested earlier. Then you can delete the folder without having it come back. It comes back because its still running in the background, which allows it to replace itself. Sounds more like adware to me though.

You can go to C:/Program Files..find it's folder, and then delete that.

But it will still be on the computer. Chances are that parts of it will be in the registry and stuff, so this method is unrecommended.

I was curious, so I did some googling and found this. I also spent some time on download.com. So many people had gripes about this program. It's kinda sad.
