First off, not to be nasty or anything, but you see, somehow I'm a hairy guy. So yeah, I got some (noticable) hair there. So, I'm wondering if I should shave it. To me, it just doesn't look right, but before I go through with it, making the rest of life having to deal with thicker and darker hair there, I just want some opinions, you know. Maybe some girls like it?

I did read that other Hairy nipples topic, but that's on a girl. What about me, an 18 year old guy?

First off, to go against popular belief shaving anything does not make it grow back thicker and darker. I watched a spokes person for Gillette say that its not true, all that happens is the hair grows at a different angle giving the appearence of more hair. I've shaved parts of me before(lol) and honestly its never grown back thicker or darker. Anyways, back to your question. If it really bugs you then go for it, but while it won't grow back thicker and darker it will grow back so you might want to think it over. You'll have to shave probably a couple times a month, maybe more. Also be careful, ingrown(sp?) suck.

It's not a myth. My fathers currently have a thick and dark mustache including my older brother. He use to had a light softy mustache because he didn’t shave it, mine is pretty light and softy.

haha. I don't know about girl hair but with guy hair...you shave, it'll come back darker. I've actually done an experiment. I shaved off all the hair on where a beard would grown on my face. After a while, I noticed darker hairs growing down the side of my jaw. :O The same thing worked for the mustache area.

So um. I've seen some people with that. Is it just like a few hairs growing there? Do you have a lot of chest hair..?

just leave it, girls don't normally toy with male nipples anyway. if some chick dumps you and/or avoids you like a plague just because of hairy nipples, she really isn't worth keeping around.

it's not like you have enough nipple hair to create a toupee...but if you do then you should definately do something about it.

As a female I would find it kind of strange if the guy had hairy nipples. If it's a little hair it's not that bad you can just pluck it out with a tweezer bacause shaving it would proabaly be a little dangerous and waxing might pose a problem because you could pull of some of the skin there AND DEFINATELY DO not use hair removing cream there that would be foolishness!
Ask a female friend of your to do it because they would be able to do it better.
