I've been here for a year and didn't want to post anything. I'm sticking out my neck right now.

Inspiration: Every night I used to go jogging around 3 am outside for 1 mile. I can't even explain the feeling...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tonight it's just me and the road.
It knows my pains, it knows my blood,sweat...and tears.
More then anything it knows how self conscious i am,
but it keeps pushing me forward.

It's just me and the road tonight.
Everyone is sleeping, the darkness draws peace.
The road is mine tonight.
I know every part of it,
and for some reason it gives me comfort
to know where it begins and where it ends.

I keep pushing myself harder...Not exactly knowing when to stop.
I stumble...I fall...
I pick myself back up.
I keep going until all I feel is pain
It's just me and the road tonight, and the road is mine

yah a lot of the time. It's not just about running and training.
It's about pushing yourself in life too, the deeper meaning.
But yah basically when I run like that i have to push myself that hard.
I need the endurance.

Thank you for the beautiful comments guys. I had more replies then I thought i would, and they are from the writers I really look up to, so thanks :)

Very nice. I think anyone who runs or walks late at night (including myself) can easily relate.
