I think I've explained that several times. I dont think he was aware that your site was competing so if someone simply requested for him to put it back on he would have after he accepted it. After the second time I was convinced that he didn't know and tried to contact him. And dont worry Ed will make sure that whole issue is addressed as well.

Or maybe he just considered it not technicslly competing???

He's not completely clueless. We should try to be consistant in our credit-giving.

I dont know that's what I trying to contact him to find out.

Yeah, stereoactive had the same blogging forums, interests, all that jazz, and even had CB mods as SA mods, and nothing was ever said. But that's not an issue, SA is closed down and gone now. Reverie/Retrofied/Hitherston wasn't allowed to be in our signatures even WAY before we ever added resources.
thanks for pointing that out biggrin.gif

i wasnt here for any of this, but i can assure you (even though i'm not a mod) that it is not on the back burner seeing as jusun was here about 5 mins ago.

No, its not over. One forum admin got his/her way, while others have to sit back and still live with the outrageous rules. It is not over, they reached a under the rug compromise, that singles out other forums, but allows others. Half assed way of fixing something.

how do you feel that it singles out certain forums? the rules have been stated something along the lines of:

any sites will be allowed for topsite.

sig/avatar cannot contain any reference (or links) to websites other than personal blog sites (ie xanga, myspace, blogger, etc...)

so pretty much both of these rules are not singling out anyone but accepts all (for topsite) and rejects all (for avatars and sigs).

An understanding has been reached, everyone agreed, why did you opt to not give your view in the chatroom when you were in there? That's bad timing, and you are going to beat a dead horse if you continue.

But we all said we were okay with the outcome. I think if we weren't okay with the "outrageous rules" someone would've said something in there. And from what I gathered, linking to ANY forums in a signature is not allowed, so it doesn't allow some while singling others out.. Sorry, I guess I'm just not understanding you or we're not on the same page here.
