Circumcision is the removal of Foreskin, skin that covers the head of the flacid penis and retracts when the penis becomes erect or when it is manualy retracted with your hands. Most people circumcise their boys 7-8 days after birth. Circumcision was one of the first medical practises that dates back to before 1360 BC. All Jewish boys are to be circumcised as part of their religion. If you were to have your boy circumcised today, the cost would range from 100-300 dollars, mainly in between. Some might say that the reason only aprx 1/3 of the males in the world are circumcised is because some mothers cant afford the procedure, especialy in poorer countries. It is impossible to measure sexual pleasure so there is no true facts as to if being circumcised or not would relate with more or less feeling. It is true that the foreskin contains nerves; What part of the body doesn't? Although many have described it as about as sensitive as the palm of your hand. Thats not much more sensitive then any other part of the penis anyways. Many people like to think that if you are circumcised you dont last long enough during sexual related activities and also like to state that you are also less sensitive. Does that make much sence? xD

But anyways, it doesnt really matter. Its not genital mutilation.. do you call it Facial mutilation when people get plastic surgery? Lolz. Also, please stop comparing it to your eyelids. They actually serve an important purpose and without them we would be blind. You dont really need the skin there, yet it wont kill you if you do. Most people dont even know what circumcision is.

If you live in a community where most boys are circumcised, you will probably want to be circumcised to. If you live where most boys aren't, there wont be a particular need for it either.

oh and on a side note, if you get phimosis, (where the hole of the foreskin is to little to let you acheive erection) your docter would most likely recommend circumcision anyways.

Oh and jews are circumcised beacuse it makes them pure to God.
It places them inside the covenant between Jews and God.

You can't just say jews do. Not all jews do. Not all jews are the same.

Actually, many don't. In uncircumcised men, while erect, they have a more distinct frenulum. The foreskin can bunch up under the glans when erect making a noticable difference. If you have longer foreskin, then while your erect there can still be skin covering the glans..

i am not circumsised and i am very clean. i clean it every day in the shower. it my opinion that skin belongs there. its more natural and i think it actually looks better.
