I think her name could kill her career.
A lot of people could continue associating her with her uncle even if they ARE estranged. If she really wanted to be successful, she should have changed her name before getting publicity.

She changed her name.
And her life was fine up until 9/11.
I watched something about her on Extra or something, and she was recording her CD so...Maybe she will be able to have a career. She's very pretty, except the botox-ed lips.

oh, i think i knew about this last year because it was on 20/20. unless, hes got more than one neice trying to sing..her voice is pretty good over all but it pretty much got bashed since her last name is bin laden.

She's cute. It doesn't matter whether or not she can sing, her attractiveness is marketable. But ever since the US got involved with Osama Bin Laden 20 odd years ago, it kinda foreshadowed the downfall of her personal life.
If she changed her name to something sexy; something pornstar-ish, and kept the fact that she's Osama's niece under wraps, she might get her 15 minutes of fame. Until, of course, the ignorant masses (American public) catches wind of her bloodline.

well, it could go both ways. one, it'd just kill her career just because of her last name, but two, people might be interested in her just also due to her last name.

so far.. her name brought her a lot of publicity that she otherwise wouldn't have gotten
i think, if anything, her name will help her in that it will give her much needed publicity and exposure, things a unknown start up singer can only dream about
