I am half Korean and half German. I have accidentally had all one blonde hair color because of a bad stylist and I looked so green. My skin color did not compliment that color.
I have two or three different colors of blonde highlights that is perfect and not shocking for anyone. My stylist has been doing hair for 20 years so you have to get a good stylist.
When I visit family in Korea and meet with Koreans here in the US, they have made an error with their lightening of hair. They don't lift enough color off the hair and especially with that type of hair, it takes a lot of tiime. So they have orange or copper color hair.
I think you can do whatever you want, you just need an expert at your side. Take it one step at a time where you get a few highlights and then increase it over time so you can adjust to the drastic change and so you can make up your mind without having to panic coloring your entire head back to a darker color.
When you are young you can get away with stuff and have fun with it. Time flies by and as you age it really won't work as well.
Good Luck![size=6]

it depends on the person themselves.
majority of the times = a big fat HELL NO.
but i've seen a few who have pulled it off.
It might be because i've seen them first with blonde hair & then later on it turns back to their reg. colour.

it depends on how they look like.
if they have flawless, really white skin, go for it.
but if they're really TANNED, then don't.
some asians are really pretty with blonde hair.

Kinda depends... like, if you were part asian part something else maybe. Or if you had light coloured skin and not tanned, may work as well. In general, I just think tanned or darker skin doesnt go with blonde. I have dark skin, spanish heratige, blonde hair would be a big nono.
I voted ok :)

I personally don't like seeing someone take their
hair from black, to blonde, if the black complemented
their skin tone/ eyes well.
I do however love when asian girls with long straight
hair go funky and get red tips. that looks awesome.
If my hair were black, thats exactly what i'd do.
But I suppose you could even die the ends whitish-blonde
and it would look awesome. I'd probably have to see it.
But hey, whether theyre trying to conform or not,
hair color is a form of self expression.
if an asian person decides to color their hair, so
be it. it may not be a societal "yay", but when
your hair is so dark, its hard to add some color in
anywhere, its this same shade, and getting around
that can be difficult. do what you want asians. ;]
don't let anyone tell you any different.

QUOTE(peggysturr @ Dec 19 2005, 10:23 PM)

How do you think of Asian girls who dyed their straight hair blonde (the really light blonde)?
I think it is eww and looks really ugly on them because their hair roots are black, while the rest are all blonde.
Many Koreans (no offense) at my school dyed their hair this way.
The majority looks bad with it, but some might look really pretty, it depends, but still a eww to me.
NOO.it looks terrible! Maybe a few high lights, but as a carmel blonde. Definitely not bleached blonde!

i think blonde hair on asians makes them look kind of harsh
their natural brown/black hair is so much prettier and softens their face a lot

I just absolutely hate asians in blonde hair.
Sometimes, in rare cases, they do look good.
But mostly, they just look like they're trying too hard.
