For the record, one can't atually "dye" their hair blonde from dark hair.

Like it's been said before: some can pull it off and make it work, most can't.

I agree.. My friend that`s half Asian, had black hair, she tried to dye her hair blonde, but it turned out orange. I have another friend and she`s not Asian, but she`s Pacific Islander and she has naturally blonde hair (everyone else in her family has dark hair except her and her grandpa...but her hair got lighter from the sun). Everyone thinks she`s an Asian with blonde hair, and she looks better blonde than brunette.

Again, it can't be dyed. It turned out orange because she didn't leave it in long enough.

i noe ppl dat have their hair dyed blonde or streaks but personally my dad wud chop off my hair if i did it...he says its a disgrace to ur race or sumthing but really its not that bad...just another way of changing ur appearance =\ many ppl do it and it became sumthing that asians do because some think that if you have streaks it wud make u look "hot" or sumthing...

i'm asian... and i think its kinda wrong to go dye your hair blonde.. i think highlights are great and stuff but your natural hair color is always better =]

It depends on the girl & stuff. But I think it's nasty when anyone who dyes their hair blonde ends up having orangey hair. I think people should bleach it before doing so.

Like what everyone stated, it just depends on the person, and what they look like. but hey, you are who you are, if you want a change in your hairstyle and want blonde/red/pink/blue highlights or hair color go ahead; noone should stop you. but on the real side once you go ahead with it, you might wanna consider a "i told you so" later on. haha (that's if it looks hella bad )

i dunno...i think come can pull it off...i mean they can look ok with the highlights...but some...uhmmm..well...itz bothersome...lolz...i'm all satisfied with my black hair! lolz

I don't really like it. To me, asians just don't fit as a blonde. But it could look nice on some people.

Dude; Haha im korean. But when i went to korea about 2 years ago, it wasnt really blonde. it was like an orangey cinammony color, you know? I dont really care what people do with their hair, but i guess its the style in korea..*shrugs* i only get highlights that color :]

I think it really depends on how they dye their hair and if they can pull it off. If they do choose to dye their hair like that, they should just be able to maintain it so there wouldn't be like roots and stuff.

like if u can post some pictures...like some look quite pretty with the dyed hair...
but for others...that's just plain ugly.

well i think its okay on some people but don't say eww! that's mean, i'm korean too and i don't like blonde hair. but i do love light brown hair.. i'm prolly gonna dye it like that.. but never blonde. so do you guys think black people look good in them? why only asian people?? and i saw someone say they dont even get it done right, maybe its their problem,, maybe they didnt brush it well before but don't insult them!

well for some people it's not bad, but for other people, they do look ugly... but admit it, for SOME people,,, they can pull it off

I don't like it...they already have such pretty black hair...blonde contrasts too much. I guess brownish would look better than blonde.

There's an asian girl who works at this restaurant we go to often. She dyed the first layer of her hair blonde and put it up in a ponytail so it's only on the top of her head. Ugh, it looks horrible.

I'm asian and I don't like asians dying their hair blonde. It looks good on some people, but majority of the time it looks wrong. Thats just my opinion. =]
