hmmm...

i read somewhere that you shouldnt use toner because it dries out your skin and overproduces oil..... but i use proactiv for my acne and it requires to use a toner and my skin is shiny and oily so what do you guys suggest i do?

i use a toner on my skin and i really like it. it makes my face look all fresh and cleans out what i might've missed with only a face wash. i use garnier fresh toner too btw. but my suggestion is try it out and see how it works on your skin.

You read that in one of the new Cosmo Girl issue, didn't you :P

I saw that too. I would continue to use the toner. Professional dermatologists have researched when it comes to proactiv and I'm sure if it were to dry out your face and overproduce oil, then they wouldn't make it mandatory to use it. Any acne product might dry out your face at first, but usually your skin doesn't dry out like that after the first week or so.

I think toner is fine. I dont use it, but if you keeo your face moistureized after using it, it shouldnt be a problem.

I use toner, it`s fine for me I guess..

It actually depends on what kind of toner you use, not all toners dry your skin out. You have to find one that suits your skin's needs. I definitely use toner because its like the step between washing your face and moisturising it...so it helps a lot. =]

Not all toners are terrible =) I use a toner every once in a while and it makes my skin feel very healthy. :D

I don't really use any skin products. I don't have acne or anything, and my skin is perfectly fine.

i read somewhere that great skin comes from doing all 3: clean, tone, moisturize
