I'm working on a layout of my own, and everything seems to be working okay except for the fact that I can't seem to get my navigation lined up. The blog body is in the right place, but when I go to place the navi links, it either messes the entire layout up and goes out of wack, or it doesn't show up at all.
I'm using the example navigation links until I get things where I want them.

So, where do I put ^ it at? I read before the blog body, but when I put it before, once again, something screws up. I'm assuming I'm not putting it in the right spot. Some advice on where to put it?
Here's my in-progress HTML:

Oh, and if you go to the link, you'll notice that at the top by the advertisement, it's cut-off and you can see the background. Is there a way I can move the major picture up, to cover that? I thought it was maybe a padding issue, but I had all of them set at 0 and still nothing.

And here's a link, if you need it.

You always position the navigation before the blog. mellow.gif Because you have to on Xanga.

Whoa, okay, I got it. laugh.gif

Now, what about my space problem? sad.gif

Negative margin. mellow.gif It just places the image after the ad because the ad comes first.

Okay.
Thanks.
