that's so horrible...i'd hate to actually know that i'm last or second to last.

uh...at school here it goes like this
we have registration class which we go to in the mornings and the teacher takes the register, so that'd be say 3C or whatever, 3 is the year, c stands for the house, every school will have different house names, usually theres 4 houses.
so your in your regy class for usually reg, pshe, health, pe, social studies, science, music, home ec, ...
then for english, maths, etc you're put into classes according to intelligence, so there'd be the bottom class for stupid loosers that would rather fool around than bother to learn the answer to 1+1 and can't read fluently, idk about where you live but here theres alot of people who can't read properly, i'm talking people in high school, 12 year olds(1st year) to even 14year olds(3rd year), they read all like and. the. cat. was. in. the. bag. and it's. head. was. sticking. out. and. it. was happy. sorta reading.
then theres a few middle classes, usually 2 or 3. then then theres the top class for geeks like me who listen to the teacher like good girls and boys =D.

although that's only up to second year and I'm 3rd year now and homeschooled BUT I'm going back to school when I move. when I was in school though I was top class for everthing and was a right geek, and knew all the damn answers. b/c I'm smart like that lmao.
acctually I lived in england untll i was 10 and scotland is kinda full of stupid people so when I went to school here I knew all the answers and went from the kid with 100% attendance to having hardly any time at school b.c I saw no need to be at school since I knew all the answers and the damn school never done a thing about it so I said my mom took me out of school. I havn't really done that much work so when I go back to school they should al be up to date now =D. yeah but when I was in england I was super excelling too so I guess I'm just one of those smart geeks -sigh-

I haven't seen my class rank since the end of freshman year, since they stopped putting them on my grades, but then it was like 140 out of however many people are in my class, which is a lot. Now, no clue. I also think they should take class levels into account, which I'm not sure they do, but hope so, because CP kids can have better grades than me, but if they took my schedule, they'd fail everything.

we havent had report cards yet. semester doesnt end until the 22nd...so ill know around january. last year i was like 136 out of 400-500 kids in my class. yeah, im not the smartest. we still get our ranks on our grades though.

maybe i shouldn't be suprised since there's only around 900 students in my school.

anyways, as of december i was ranked like 58 out of 206, but i should be higher up now, due to semester grades.

i know last year i was in the top 5 or something out of 120...i'm not sure this year, but i think i dropped haha.

Does it say so on your transcript? When I was still at that school, I must have been like 4990 out of 5000 because I cut a lot. Now, I'm pretty sure that I'm high up in the ranks. I'll take a look at my transcript tomorrow if I remember.

I'm not sure how many students go there because I can't find it online and I tossed the NYC HS Directory or whatever book but I'm sure that there were a lot of people. Surprisingly, my school is listed in wikipedia. I wonder if I should edit it and write about the scandal that made the front page of the Daily News or NY Post

hm. At the end of last year I was 4th out of 300ish. Now, I'm probably somewhere in between 10 and 20. It sucks, because people taking CP courses can make all As and have a higher GPA than me taking IB courses and making Bs. GRRRRRRRRR!
