How do you do vectors with photoshop7? I've always thought they looked cool but i don't know how to do it.

The attached image is an example of a vector (well... almost.)... can anyone help me?


EDIT- while you're at it, whats a slice?

i dont know if that's a vector... more like colorizing, i think but i cant tell.

i vector in Illustrator and enhance it in photoshop

eh.. i'll write a tutorial on this later..

basically u just use the pen tool and...trace..and add color.

That's not a vector, Fireshrieker. All I did with that picture was make the picture monochromatic ( in this case, a dark blue ), use the 'darken' blending mode, and then applied the 'makeup' with a circular brush.

pen tool. with illustrator. but u can use it in photoshop too, it just takes longer... cuz u have to keep stroking/filling paths n shit.. annoying
