9th grade. i dont really want a straightfoward no theme no moral book. what is a book that really had a strong message? or like really touched you

Ender's Game, Slaughterhouse Five, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Life of Pi...
Never Let Me Go (by Kazuo Ishiguro) is said to be pretty good.

Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs.
