I've liked this guy, lets call him fred, for a long time. I'm 100% sure that he knows it and he has never once come up to me and talked to me about it. Plus, i heard from an annonymous source that he likes me. Then i heard from the same source that he doesnt like me. But, I have a feeling he does cuz even after I found out he didnt like me, he invited me in his house and was even in his room. I'm the type of person whos scared to ask a guy out even though I have tons of guy friends. I really wanna go out with him, but im too shy i guess. My frineds have told me that he really isnt worth it. But to me he really is and i dont think they know that.
Any advice?

This should go in relationships..
Well.. Talk to him about it. You don't know for sure if he likes you, it's a rumor. Ask him if he likes you. You need to know for sure first. If he DOES like you, then.. Just wait for him to ask you out. You can try and make moves.. Like.. Hug him and hold his hand and stuff till then.

Thanks for the reply...
Well, i get what you said and its a good idea, but like a typical school, there are different groups pf people who hang out together. and my group doesnt hang out with his. I mean i see him in school and I'm friends with people who he hangs out with, but I'm too scared to make the first move. I have never gone out with someone and most of my friends have and theyve given me advice, but I just cant do it.

haha its kinda lyk what i'm going through.. i'm just waiting for that day till he says.. "will you be mine?" LOL but anyways. Yeah Just makes some moves. Give him MORE hints. somes boys tend to forget.. or think that just because girls don't show it as much.. they think they don't like them. So makes moves and such. Just tell him. if you tell him then right there you will knoe for sure that he knoes you like him. So that's something you can get off ur back also.. if you ask him. Yeah i knoe shyness is a killer. But just step it up and ask! haha. Theres no wrong answer.. just two answers he could give.. a answer that you like. and an answer that you don't like.. LOL

hm well you know what. if you can't make the effort to just
talk to him is he really worth it to you? if you like him that much then he's worth the risk, right? if you're sure he likes you too... then what do you have to lose?

lack of communication: there's ur problem.
he's not gonna bite ur head off if u talk to him and what not. flirt a little, hint some more, and if he doesn't make the move, u can. if ur 100% sure that he likes u like u say u are, then u should be confident about asking him out and u shouldn't be afraid of rejection.

you should go with your feelings, but remember that TRUE friends are there to look out for you. maybe they know something or se something in him thats negative or could affect you in a negative way but you dont see it? if they're god friends you should probably consult them and take in considoration of their opinions.

sometimes your friends might be right
why not ask him? that's the only way you are going to find out the truth

if you're not going to at least make the attempt to establish communication, then obviously nothing's going to happen and you should just give up.

(Please resize your signature! it's too big) ok enough of that.
well Fred sounds like a typical shy guy. What you need to do is stop have "sources", basically friends that are friends with both of you and getting info on him through them. You ever play the telephone game as a kid? People mess up information all the time, It's a crazy game.
You go up and talk to him. Just the two of you
See where it goes from there :)

Wow, this is kinda like an experience I had. Except He doesn't know I like him. All my friends thinks he likes me too. But seriously.. no know knows, except him, and his friends. I have always wanted to ask one of his friends if he liked me , but that kinda gives it away that I like him
So maybe that's what you should do. Ask one of his friends, be like "I was just wondering, there are so many rumors going around about him likeing me and not liking me.. do you know the truth?" and If they don't know, and he has AIM you could start talking to him on AIM about rumors that are going around school, and just happen to bring up that you heard something about him liking you. Would that work?
I hope this advice works for you =]
