I was just wondering if anyone here participates in some sort of speech and debate/forensics team at their school. If there does happen to be anybody...put your events! ^^v

As for mine...oratory and extemp. I'm probably switching to Duo though...

hmmm...
I think this would serve better in the debate section.
MODS- move it if you feel like it should be in the Lounge.

Eh, I was supposed to do Forensics this year but I got stuck with about 7-8 other clubs before it started so definately next semester or year?

Oh, and this has nothing to do with debating a topic. K thanks.

moved back to lounge and deleted other 2 moves becuase it looked ridiculous and incompetent (not that katie is, just you know)

There is a debating team in my school that joins all sorts of debating competitions and friendly debates.

Also, some of my schoolmates are quite eager to join the hk schools' speech festival every year. I've never tried it before, maybe because I'm a shy person and I'm not good at public speaking at all. ermm.gif

I was on my high school forensics team. I was one of the improvisational speakers. We don't have debate at my school now, but I am a part of Model UN.

I planned on joining Model UN or the Debate Team this year, but I couldn't find time to go to the meetings at all. It's too late now, but oh well.

yeah, i do champ LD debate.. 3rd year.. tried extemp but ahem. got stuck in FX instead of novice and it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. so its just good ol' debate for me.

i think we're the largest squad in the US or something. for NFL at least. our squad is huge.
yeah i just looked it up and we are.. wow.
thats cause everyone in my school wants to up their gpa cause debate is honors credit. also it pretty much gets you out of speech.
