Full Version: DDR, ITG, or PIU?

I personally think ITG is a better choice over the rest. With PIU, it felt like i was jumpin over pits and stepping on blocks rather than arrows (though PIU did have a nice look overall). Though DDR's what got me started (and yeah, better stepcharts), I'd still say ITG...has the music, the fun hands and rolls, the better overall look, and the fact that you can put in a USB card.

I don't know any except DDR. So DDR for me.

I got started on DDR (third mix korean version), and I've been playing DDR since 1998, but it was hard to actually feel like I was dancing to that game. We got Pump it Up at the mall in the next town over, and I tried that out. Almost immediately, I felt at home with the machine. Every song forced me to switch up my feet and allowed me to do dance moves to the songs. ITG is just DDR with places to NOT put your feet, on top of the game of simon you were already playing.

Even though without DDR, it would not exist, I <3 PiU.

LOL gangster. I started with DDR, but ITG has more modifiers. I kind of like the music for DDR better, but ITG is more fun, IMO. If you play a song with hands, it's fun.

I hate all dancing games. But I'll go for DDR since it's the only one I know.

DDR would always be the favorite, but Pump It Up seems real fun.
PIU seems like you're really dancing.
All in all, PIU!

I picked DDR that's the only one I've played.
There is Bust-A-Groove, but you don't use a pad to dance in that game you use your hands. o.o

hahaha...

that game seriously stresses me out, "plucking" the guitar feels so unnatural..if it was only buttons, damn i would do so much better.

I'm most used to DDR, but ITG isn't bad either. They have good songs and it's nice to hear something other than DDR songs sometimes. Also, they have the mines and when you get to a certain level, you even have to use your hands. I'm nowhere near good enough to do that, but I've seen my friend do it and it's awesome. I've yet to try Pump It Up; I want to.
NgocQuyen
i've played all three, but i personally like DDR better. :)

DDR, duhhh.

I was never interested with the last two, even though I have been exposed to it.

Perhaps it's because I knew of DDR before the other two and I'm used to it. :P But lately, the selection of songs for DDR have gone downhill. I miss all the trance, dance, and jpop songs from older versions of DDR. I like, WTH when I'm dancing to Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone...

Yea..
