Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.
I can't seem to figure out the override for forcing the username of people on your friends page into a different colour. Its currently black, which is basically impossible to read on the dark blue background colour of my blog. Ack!

You can see what I mean at http://www.livejournal.com/users/snippetchick/friends
There's nothing in my style text-wise that I have specified to be black so I can only assume that its something i have to override from the default settings!

I looked through documentation on the lj website, and came across http://www.livejournal.com/developer/varin...l?FRIENDS_EVENT
and came up with this:

I don't know if I've got the variable wrong or if I've coded it wrong.
Does anyone know what to do to fix this, because I'm out of ideas.

I'd even maybe allow the background of the image/username to be white, but I can't remember how to do that either, without making all of my other colours stuff up :s

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Just the first few lines of that page might help. I've honestly never run across this problem before or needed to try to change the colors.

Or you could select all and edit the foreground color on your "edit friends" page.. That just seems a little work intensive. :P

Let me know if you get anywhere at all, I'll keep trying to figure something out.

Cheers :)
I did figure out that I can do it by overriding all font tags to show up in the paler colour. That works pretty well for me, although it's really not very elegant :P given that if I post tables etc from other sources (from quizzes etc), it'll stuff up their font colours too. Although since I already overrode their table background colours, that won't be a problem I guess :)
