well i kno im not a guy, but on movies and stuff, when a guy tells his dad, that he is gay, the Dad gets very upset and starts doin the usual...cussing, screaming, and usually disowning their son. i kno thats not wut would happen for all guys, but what would ur dad do if you told him u wur gay? (even tho ur not gay, just reply to wut ur dad might do, if u told him, and u wur jokIng.)

well my family runs in senstivity escpecially my dad first and foremost. i would have too say if said that . it would destroy him internally yet .in the outside he would joke about it or act like a guy get pissed . but i have no clue .

OMG! That so didnt happen when I told my dad I was gay. He just said that it didnt matter because I was still his son. I was all like "That awesome!"

Well my dad killed himself when I was 1 so I don't have any idea how he'd react if I told him. My mom took it okay, kind of. She cried when I told her at first. I cried too, but just because of all that built of anxiety and well jeez, its just a hard thing to say. At least for me it was. I think she cried cause its just weird. I mean, she really had no idea. I mean now looking back I think she sees instances which hinted but she just never really thought much on those things at the time. So for her the son she thought she knew so well and was so close too wasn't at all like that. I mean I'm the same person. But for a while she didn't see it that way I think. She's very supportive of me and constantly tells me she doesn't care but I think deep down she does. For a while she tried to play it as maybe just a "phase". Now she accepts it and is pretty cool with it. Although I can't make comments like I could if it was a girl. She plays it down but I can tell it bugs her if I'm to say a guy is cute. So I just don't do it.
