well patting an athlete during gameplay anywhere else on his body will hinder him. Think about it!!

slapping the guy on the butt is great, it's where the center of balance is, so he isn't gonna fall or lose balance if you hit him. it requires no energy on his part.

I'm not disputing anything else in your post, but that's not true. The center of balance for males is the shoulders. The center of balance for females is in fact the hips though.

I've seen this many times, my friends actually do it. It's quite funny though. Even "PRO" basketball coaches do it to the team. I have a friend who's on the school basketball's team and the coaches slap their butt's as in like good job or something in a good way. I did it a couple times, when my friend does it to me, but it's all a joke. (=

yea the ass slap is good because some people try to slap your stomache head or shoulders and they throw your body off

Lol in high school the funniest thing to me was to watch the "super macho oober manly" football players slap each other's azzes after a winning game...

The boys in my class touch their asses all the time. They even put pencils up there...to make it look like a penis.... It's sick i know but i'm used to seeing it.

I've never done it or had it done to anyone but I see nothing wrong with it. So many guys these days are worried "Will this make me gay?" or "Will others think I'm gay?". Now of course some guys just don't like having their butt touched by anyone but their special someone and thats fine. But aside from those guys, the other ones who get bugged by it just show me they aren't very secure with their sexuality.
