Recently, I have been having trouble eating. I don't eat breakfast and I never have since elementry school (I'm in 11th grade) and I really have trouble eating anything at lunch. I mean yeah, I am always starving and what I have for lunch (usually a sandwhich) is the most I have all day. If I have practice that day, I don't get home until about 7:00 and I just eat a bowl of cereal and that would be all I have. If I don't have practice, I usually just can't find the will to eat anything. I used to be the kind of kid who eats 24/7 and now I just don't eat as much. I'm more worried about my appetite decreasing more than anything else. Any advice?

yea i dont eat breakfast also. its very commmon i just dont have time to. and plus when i do eat my stomach starts to growl and then i need to poop in school thats one big reason why i dont eat breakfast.

but you need to eat something at least a protein bar just to get some vitamins and things like that.

Whatever you do, eat breakfreast..if you feel the need to skip a meal, eat breakfast, skip lunch.

i had eating issues once. i skipped breakfast... ate little lunch, and little dinner. eventually i started eating breakfast, and it all got better.. my brother pratically force fed me.

it depends if you feel bloated or not when you're supposed to eat. and instead of eating cereal as dinner, maybe something you really like?

i hope it's not anorexia.

[and if you do feel bloated, just eat enough so you dont feel... over bloated.]

Why not just start eating. Try actually eating breakfast now, then having a snack on the go. Then when you come home have something light but filling.

I try to eat but often I end up throwing up (not on purpose). I have been trying to force myself to eat some more and I have been trying to eat breakfast too if that is any consolation.

i hate eating breakfast too, and i found that the easiest thing for me to eat in the morning was a piece of fruit, like pineapple, an orange, or a banana...its not heavy food and its quick.

I don't eat breakfast either.. but I do drink a glass of orange juice. It helps, really it does.

That's really not good for you at all..I did that when school first started. I barley ate anything, and I had cheerleading right after school. I got really dizzy this one time and was so close to fainting if I wasn't givin water like..immediatly. It also happened one more time after that. I started realizing you can't practice on an empty stomach so I always bring snacks to school and eat it right before practice starts. If you don't eat it will get you really skinny..because when your brain sends you the message that it's hungry and you aren't given food, it reacts by "eating" you're fat and eventually muscel tissue-not good- So I suggest you should just bring some snacks to school with you. And just eating an apple or banana in the morning gives you the right vitamins so you're body can be more awake for school. So after that long rant. Conclusion: Eat.

This happened to my cousin.

It might be because some bacteria in your body [ this is what my cousin had ] and you dont get hungry, but when you do eat, your body reacted bad to the food so you throw it up, and stuff. Go to a doctor.

ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST.
i never did in elemtary school either. i didnt thini it was important.
well, karma struck. abut two months ago i fainted in dance class because i didnt have breakfast that day, and i completely wore myself out to the extent that my body couldn't handle it.
my doctors told me that everyone should eat breakfast. its true. if you dont, then thats a long time between dinner and lunch the next day that you arent eating.

Thanks for the advice guys! I finally decided to take Hiphop d[-_-]b's advice and go to the doctor. Well, I'm going tommorrow but yeah I'll keep you posted on how I do =)

oh yay!

i would start eating little by little :] i used to have that problem. it eventually went away. i didnt really do much...
