i first heard of this on niketalk on their denim thread and i found out that it involves buying a pair of selvedge jeans - a preferred brand is apc - and wearing it everyday without washing for months until the jeans start to develop your unique whiskers and honeycombs (wrinkles) and then finally washing them after like 2 months in warm water for a more deep fade. i went to supertalk a fashion community and learned more.. i know this sounds really interesting so here are some pics.
keep in mind this started as a solid blue denim color. search "APC denim" on google to see og apc jeans.

im not an expert on this by far but im really interested in starting to do this - i heard levis stf 501 jeans were good cheap jeans to start out with. any recommendations or tips or explanations? thanks!

Seems like a big hassle, and a rather disgusting one, too. I don't think I could go on wearing the same pair of jeans every day for months.
I'd really much rather just buy a pair of jeans that originally look like that. =\

the difference though is that the jeans that originally look like that don't have your wrinkles and whiskers - the wrinkles on the back leg might end up on your calf and the honeycombs on your thighs might end up on your kneecaps.

That sounds kind of disgusting. Do it in the summer or something. I think people will notice if you wear the same pair of jeans for a month without washing it.

hell, they're jeans. no one notices if you don't wash them. because who's going around smelling your pants?

if they're smelly enough, they won't need the invitation the smell your pants, they just WILL.

its not like you wear them to school every day. experts recommend wearing them once you get home every day for like 2 hours a day. if you have more than one pair of selvege jeans you can rotate them and even wear them to school.

It seems kind of weird.. o__O I don't really like the look. But the unique whiskers does look cool, but the "honeycombs" are weird. It make the panks look smooshed up [Yes, SMOOOOOSHED].
What kind of pants are those, pictured? Men's? Women's?
