So if u met someone over the internet, and u met becuz ur friend introduce u 2, to eachother, and the guy or girl lives in your state and u have seen a pic of him/her and u talk to them over the phone, would u date them, if you both had feelings for eachother, but you have never met them in person before?

I would say "no" but then also "yes" because you know you really like this person and maybe you could see them, but if they arent around you a lot then you would probably be tempted to cheat(caused by loneliness or longing)...But if you can visit them, i say go for it.

Face-to-face interaction is a vital part of human relationships. I personally don't put much stock in "over the Internet" relationships. I think to really know all of a person, you have to see them in person. Besides, not all of human interaction is just talking; participating mutually in activities is a big part of getting to know someone, too. I personally would not bother dating anyone over the Internet.

No. No. No.
I agree that interacting in person is important to a relationship. Of course, personality and emotional connections should hold precedence over physical appearance; but, in my opinion, you need to be with someone face-to-face to have a real relationship.

Yes.
If you've seen a picture of each other and feel comfortable with phone calls, then most probably you won't be too uncomfortable with meeting up.

No way. I only date people I know in person. Who knows those people can be photogenic or worse. That's not even their picture

dating someone you met from the internet is like going out with a complete stranger who tried to hit on you in the mall...except you didn't know what each other looked like at first ....or if they're lying

It honestly depends. I probally would never do it, but there are people I've talked to, that I might consider it, just because I've talked to them so much, and I don't get that "feeling in my gut". Which I have gotten before.
