Okay, remember me? I took my test already, this worksheet is just for extra credit. I'm not sure I did everything right...so...can you just re-check my work?!?! Because like, I really don't know if I did it right, and I need these extra points badly. Well....I know how to do it..but like..on my last test..I missed a lot of stuff..so it took off a lot of points from my grade...so..if there is another pair of whatever, then please point it out. if i did something wrong, please point it out to me. thanks!!

5. Chester recieved an American patent for the earmuffs at the age of eighteen.

adjective: American modifies: patent (i have a feeling there is another adjective in this sentence)

Well, you're kind of just asking us to do your homework for you... Some people tried to explain how this stuff works in one of your other threads on the subject. It's best to learn, rather than have everyone else do work for you.

Answer: airflow(not sure...)

^the noun in there is birds..but it's not acting as an adjective....I don't think wing is one either.....neither is fly....so it IS airflow..right?

Airflow is a noun. Birds is also a noun, and the subject. Wings, however, is a noun. Their is the adjective that modifies wings.

I'm not looking for an adjective.....I'm looking for a noun or pronoun that is acting as a adjective, but none of them seems to be acting as one.

Their is a possessive pronoun.

^we didn't learn that in class....at least i believe..and the directions says only nouns and pronouns:

Their is a pronoun that generally functions as an adjective.

oh..oops...i was thinking about a noun...I forgot that pronouns were stuff like, they, their, her, she and stuff..sorry..
