I'm in high school journalism and I'm running out of ideas for stories. Does anyone have any suggestions? What would a typical teenager like to see in a High School paper?

Any ideas would be nice! I'm supposed to have a story soon!

as for advice, when i was doing the high school paper i always liked to see polls and stuff that involved the students. There was one column that had "First Crushes" sorta thing, and you would go around asking people who was their first crush or something, and told them it was for the paper. It was just a nice little section, but people were always interested in reading it, you know? That probably didnt' help but ok. :) haha

^ yeah polls are a good idea or you could try wrting about

~something new that is happening in your school
~the caf. food and what others think about it.
~sports
~just write a mini random story instead of informing people about something

since christmas is almost around the corner...you could write about the top most wanted gifts...^like they said you could add a poll too
