hello guys and girls..
you know what? i really really think that you should make a forum answering common questions about myspace instead of answering them over and over again..*everyday*. like if it were to be about backgrounds.. make a forum for just back grounds... scroll bars, fonts ect.. dont u think this is more convenient....???
well if not, its ok.. it was just a suggestion!

well that is what an FAQ(frequently asked questions) is, we really don't need a whole forum for that . . .

^ YUP. THE FAQS IS GOOD. except for the freakin' fact that you'll still get repeated questions. People don't read the pinned topics. aoghjdhjidja[sid

It's a god idea, but the thing is, like Toby said, we'll still get repeated questions because people don't read it. It's what causes this problem in the first place; people not reading the scripts forum or previous answered questions.

This is just a thought... maybe like a mentorship? Experienced cbers could volenteer to help other cbers (with a min of 200 post yada yada) and each mentorship could be helping with design or coding or any of those things. There could be levels of mentors like beginning mentors, intermediate, and advanced and once you've been mentored by an advanced you could be a mentor and help fellow cbers.
Just an idea.

the pinned topic is a good idea.
the worst thing which would happen us that heather (or whoever, but she said it) will have to organize the pinned topics, and then it will never get read.
if so, you delete it, and at least the pinned topics will be organized

We already have pinned FAQs, and if PEOPLE ACTUALLY GO AHEAD TO READ THEM, we can reduce the number of help topics made heavily.
Moreover, it would be a hassle to classify all the questions into certain categories.

So, I don't support this suggestion.

FAQs sounds good to me.
niez_cho - he is taking about FAQ for myspace alone....and I dont think there is one at the moment in the myspace help forum.

if they didnt bother to scroll down and/or use the search feature to see if their questions have already been asked, i dont see why we should assume they will go through the trouble of reading the FAQ

I think FAQ's would be fine. There are just some simple stuff that aren't in scripts and people just repeat them in the help forum.
