well my mom is a single mother and i've never met my dad before. my mom once asked me, that if one day if i met him, wut would i say to him?! i really dont kno wut i would say, he would be like a total stranger to me!

My mom is a single mom. I see my dad like twice a year, because he lives in Arizona, and refuses to come out to see me. So every summer and Christmas I go and see him. Whatever.

My mom and dad split when i was 2 maybe thats why im so disfunctional. O.o

My parents are together but my dad gets thrown out or leaves every couple days or so. My mom is in serious need of anger managament and counseling.

He was never really around but when he was he was drunk on the couch. So i guess if he was ever really there for me, id be clueless as to what i would say.

well iguess i can say i have a single mom and dad b/c they are divorced now.. but i see both of them almost week.

I live with my single mom and my dad lives like an hour away, but i still only see him like twice a month. If he left you and your mom, I would ask Y he left you guys.

I was raised by my mom for 13 years. My dad abandonned me before i was born. Anyways, almost 4 yrs ago i got the chance to meet him and actually live with him but things didn't go well. I'm still living in his house with my mom and sis but he doesn't live with us. He lives with one of his gfs...
To me, my dad died a long time ago...before i was born.

My parents got divorced when I was 11. I've been living with my mum ever since. I still see my dad once every two weeks.

.....I'm in the exact situation as you. EXACT situation..I do not have a father and the only thing I know about him was that he was very smart... (Totally the opposite of me ^__^ lmao) and well I feel your pain definitely but, my mom has done her best in raising me...and I will love her endlessly for that.

I don't know what would happen if I met him...I wouldn't even talk to him basically...that's how distant he is from me.

I've been luckier than most single parent children...my mom takes credit for that.

Also, I'm an only child, are you an only child?

i have both of my parents...but it sucks to not have a dad. i asked the guy i'm seeing about his dad and i kind of regret being so nosy...his dad knows where he is, he has his number and address but his dad has never called him or sent him a birthday card...ever. he's 21 now and his parents got divorced when he was like 5. some people are just so heartless...

My parents are split and its a constant pain. They are always talking about and complaining about each other. What makes the situation more complicated is that my mom got remarried and my dad didnt. My dad is never there for me though and gets mad when my step dad is. But at the same time I want to push my step dad away. It sucks...
