I need an answer within the hour for this...
Who was the original person that stated "Everything in moderation"? I want to quote him/her but I can't seem to find out who said it first.

Wasnt it Socrates?
Perhaps.
I know that Steiman said, "Everything in moderation -- including moderation." So. Um. Yeah.

I googled it and I got Socrates and plus I remember us talking about it in greek history, because it means to commit hubris.

Also, "everything in moderation" is one of the inscriptions on the temple of Apollo at Delphi.

Yeah, I googled it and got Harvey Steiman too, but I have no clue who he is. I don't know why a quote from a wine person would be so popular.
Could you link me to where you found Socrates, mzkandi?
edit: Great... I got Oscar Wilde now for "Everything in moderation, including moderation". That's three possible people for this quote...

Socrates said that he learnt the maxim gnothi seauton, meaning 'know thyself' at Delphi where it was inscribed, together with 'everything in moderation', over the entrance to the ancient temple of Apollo.
