yesterday i saw the new music video by lindsay lohan. i forgot the title but the video was about how her parents were + how much she suffered through their fights.

my boyfriend is very convincing so he started saying these negative (and FALSE) things about lindsay + her family and he convinced my mom that she's a bad person.

my mom believed him and started saying "look at this video, all about violence, so stupid...etc" and it really pissed me off because lindsay doesn't have a "real" father figure at home + i get very emotional to family problems. so i started crying :[

i was just wondering, if you saw the video, what where your reactions? did you feel sorry for her? or you thought it was a bad video?

my mom said that my point of view would be different from my sister's (my sister + my dad aren't close whatsoever but me + my dad are) +don't get me wrong, im not a humongo fan of lindsay but i don't hate her either.

It's funny how I hate her but her music somehow gets stuck in my head. So then it turns out on my "okay" list in the end. Anyway, the video was good. Would've been better if she wasn't in it though. Lol. I really hate her.

"OMGZ POOR LINDSAY" Yeah, her life sucks because her dad's like that but look what she was blessed with. So many people have it so much worse but they don't have the money to make a video clip to whine about it. Sorry, I just can't stand Lindsay Lohan, her songs, her anything. ~_~

^I don't necessarily think anyone is giving her any pity. If anything they are just saying wow, she's been through that and now look where she's at. You never know, girls who have gone through that same type of things or even worse might look up to her or find her inspirational and it might give them hope that though they're going through times like that, they could be where she is now later in their lives. I don't think she's whining about it but just getting it out there. Why do you think people make songs in the first place? To express their emotions and to have other people relate. It people can't relate then there really is no point.

I've been reading about it in my trashy weekly tabloids, and it has been getting good reviews!

I liked the music video. Maybe because I can relate to it more than others but I'm surprised that she made a video that personal to her.

yeah i saw the music video before..and i liked it...the song itself is really crappy..but i only really like the video b/c i can relate to it..my familys pretty messed up and my parents are like if not worse than hers..so i can understand exactly how she feels and my favorite part is the glass shattering

altho i dont listen to her stuff..i have to say..i really like how shes making it known..b/c its not a perfect world..and for some kids who r going through the same thing..it really is a comfort..i know it kinda was for me..altho i know PLENTY of other artists who went through worse stuff than her..their music is not easily accepted by most ppl b/c its "too dark"..so they are really underground and not as accessible..so i guess its a good thing for a mainstream artist to sing about the imperfect side to life..

I don't particularly like Lohan, but that one was alright...I cankind of relate to it. The actual video was kind of odd. I mean, what's up with the freaky dress?lol
