Ok, my page appears perfectly in IE but horrible in Firefox. All my tables and content appears within the About Me table and not as an overlay. Any thoughts?

how did you keep it from working in firefox?

FireFox is horrible. People have signed my xanga asking me to change my layouts so they view on Firefox but it's not worth it to me. I hardly know anyone who uses it and it's not even good. I wouldn't even know how to edit it anyway. It is obvious it is not a good internet provider since it can't view a simple div layout design...

FF Owns the only reason why people probably dowbload it because IE gives more viruses.

Firefox is actually the best browser out there if you know what you're talking about, but besides the point..

Well, you should get Firefox and align it so it looks good in both. You have to validate your CSS and make it so it applies to the standard rules of CSS, since Firefox only adheres to those CSS rules. If you actually want to make it look good, you would do it on both, as an increasing number of people are making the switch from IE to Firefox (such as myself). However, if you REALLY want to be a good designer, you would make it look good on IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc., but I don't do that because I'm too lazy. :P

Also, um..did you put the codes for your tables in your About Me? Becuase you're supposed to put them in Who I'd Like to Meet..

^^ Thanks. No, I had it in the About Me section, although that wasn't the problem. I made a stupid mistake and was missing a }

I like firefox much better than IE for many reasons. I normally develop for firefox and then confirm that it works in IE because Firefox conforms better to standards than IE. It's my fault really, because I assumed that my CSS was correct and that it was a myspace qwirk that was causing the problem. I've learned my lesson :).

I think most of the problems developers/designers have with Firefox is due to the fact that they have learned to accomodate the qwirks of IE and have come to accept them as the standard. So when FF comes around and does work with these hacks people assume that it is FF with the problem.
