In recent months, I've chatted with several guys online, mostly younger, that say they run around nude in front of other family members.

One young man is 18 and lives at home . He said he ran around the house naked all the time in front of his parents. He said he and his friends go skinny-dipping in the family pool all the time. He even went as far to say that he even masturbates in front of his parents if he feels like it.

Another friend is 21 and has a 19 year old brother and a sister...all live at home. He said that he and his brother and his sister all run around the house nude and don't think anything about it.

Another guy is 34, and lives at home...and he too said he is naked most of the time he is at home...even in front of his parents.

All of the above said that they never see their parents nude though.

So, my question is...is being nude in front of your family getting to be a "norm"? Personally, I would NEVER even think about being nude in front of my parents now that I'm an adult. To me that is disrespectful.

What does everyone else think?

idont think its a norm, but its not on the borderline of outrageous either. I just think it differs from cultures and familys. I mean if there is a reason to not have clothes on it would be ok i think in alot of familys, like stepping out the shower. But thats not nearly to the extent as the first post.
