Everyone matures at different rates.

Well, it sucks, becuase eveyone calls me gay because I have a higher voice than all the other guys. But I'm not, and it makes me sad when people call me gay.

It's okay, everyone has to go through something similiar. And being called gay isn't a bad thing, it's like someone calling you black or asian or white. Don't let them turn one word bad. You know your sexuality.

haha...nah just playing, anyway, your voice will get deeper suprisingly quickly, and you wont notice until somebody asks you if you have a cold. lol.

Yeah, just give it time. Same thing happened to me. People in middle school/junior high are just strange critical freaks anyway, don't worry about what they say. :) Everyone's different.

Some people just dont get that deep of a voice like Barry Bonds.

i wouldn't worry about it, i know a guy who's 17 and his voice can crack still. those people calling you gay are just being immature.

The start of puberty varies.
It'll take some time for your voice to deepen up. I never notice my voice changing until someone told me.

People are really immature, they went through the same thing, why can't they have sympathy?

Don't worry about it, people are just willing themselfs to be rude to make up for power they don't have. SO get used to it, it's like the color of your skin, people are so racist like that calling you gay. Fools will one day realize their mistakes.

Bitches. That is what they are, the ones who call you gay, they simply say that because they want a reaction. Positive or Negative, whatever reaction you give they WILL continue. But if u ignore them or just block them out of your mind, soon they will get bored and stop. Im in eigth grade and around July my voice started getting lower.. now its reallllly low.. and my voice still cracks.. but its something you get use to... but none of my friends call me gay or any other people because they jsut dont. I mean there are people out there that will call you that, just because they are what they say themselves. So jsut remember that they want your attention. Dont give it to them =) and its totally normal to start puberty around age 13 or 14.

here's what you do if someone calls you gay:

1. ask them out.

2. hug them

3. have a nice comeback that doesnt' exactly deny it. denying it outright makes things a lot worse.


joke about it too. if someone want to think you're gay, let them. it's no big deal.

My friend is like that too. Well I don't know if he's got hair 'down there' (it's not like I go round asking "You got pubes?) but he's about six months older than me and his voice is still pretty high. He ain't gay tho, at least I don't think so (mental note: ask friend if he is gay)

okokok so im in the 10th grade...

and this guy in my science class who shall remain NAMELESS....his voice cracked REALLY loud when he said the teacher's name and i BURST out laughing.

ironically later on no1 remembered his cracking voice, yet all remembered me laughing.

but i really couldn't help myself. That guy was pretty short ( smart though) and like a little kid. Obviously not hitting puberty yet but when he does i bet alot of girls would like him. He's actually quite good looking, but people overlook that because hes so small.

My ex bf used to be short and chubby when he was in like 7th grade...and by the 10th grade he was 5"11 and freakin skinny, with a deep voice and a better fashion sense

a lot of guys i now had their voice change during their freshman year or between the summer of freshman&sophomore year.

our balls drop at different rates.

i was an early bloomer, having it happen late 5th-early 6th grade.

but i had a friend which i called him the "screaming lady"--as a joke, because he always had the voice of a girl and was all high pitched and squeaky until about mid last year (freshman year) when his voice just DROPPED as fast and unexpected as the falling of the world trade centres.

and everyone was like

ney dont sweat it. Im in 8th grade too...well imma grl but i dont notice that many boys in our class with deep voices. sometimes i find some boys with deep voices but theyre all in high school so it doesn't matter it'll come eventually.

my voice still cracks from time to time and im almost 16 and im 6'2. don woory about it nature will take its course and you will eventually grow (unless you are somehow injured in afreak accident leading to ur untimely death).
