is there a prgram that generates underwater scenery?
Mulder
hm..try googling.

as far as i know of, terragen doesnt. but maybe you can make the scene in terragen, and then add some effects in photoshop.

i dont know if that is a photo or rendered..but i need to make a scenery similar to that and i cant think of any way to do it huh.gif
Mulder
why cant you just use a photo like that?

do you absolutely have to render it?
because i doubt theres any program that makes all the various types of coral.
ecargnmyst
nono i dont need the corals lol...i just need the scene of looking up from the bottom..like i need the water ripple things from below and the rays of sunlight..i tried terragen but i cant get the underwater look and the ps tutorials i found dont look realistic enough =\
Mulder
then i guess just google it and see if it comes up.

This may not be of any help, but terragen does water according to this :

I think that if you get it right and then process it a bit in photoshop, you can get something pretty dern interesting...

eh it probably didn't help.

yeah you shoudl just photoshop the image on whatever you want; i seriously don`t think their is a specific program for that kind of stuff...

the thing is...im doing this for business purposes ..making a new ad for tampax..so i think that stuff is copyrighted..so i cant use it..
Mulder
ahh...well.
you can make the landscape in terragen, and then add water in photoshop.

You have to be allowed to use stock imagery! That's what they use so they don't have to take a billion pictures of ordinary things.
Stock images aren't really copyright either. It's just... You need the person's permission for commercial use.

At most places anyways. You may find some that don't...
