Ever been in one or seen one? how do you counter or deal with it?

I've seen many. I think the best way to counter them is to just back off. The triangles I've seen all get ugly fast, so its best if you take a step back.

I have! It felt really weird, its either you let the guy go with the other, or just kinda tuggle your way through. It felt like a whole pound of weight dropped on me. Everytime you do something around them you gotta watch your actions and things. Its just like a tuggle war.
Other ways is to fight for it if you think its your or else let it go, there are millions out there. And probably he/she whoever your going for is not the only one for you. ...if i made sense?

i've been in a "love triangle". it was between two best friends and me. at first that whole situation was great. but from great it went to crap. i liked both of them the same but in different ways (if that makes any sense) but i just couldnt choose. and i hated seeing what it was doing to their friendship and to me. so i decided to choose. i did and ended up choosing none of them. aCk that was such a stressful time. i hope ill never have to go thru that again.

its like.. wen u like someone, and ur friends likes that person too... so that person is in the center... i dunno how to explain it it usually involves 3 ppl and one likes the other and sometimes there are difficulties? god i suck lol

lol it was 3 girls and 2 guys lol i was one of the girls um... Girl 1 and girl 2 ill be girl 3 and guy 1 and guy 2... here it goes

all 3 girls like guy 1 but guy1 likes me... and guy2 likes me as well and all 5 of us know each other well.. so hte decision was upto me and guy1... i can choose guy1 or guy2 or none, he had 3 girls to choose and well i knoe i liked him and he liked me so we're together now lol but we feel bad that we hurt other ppls feelings

Wow, it's confusing but hey, Guy A is like.. getting.. 4 girls! 3 of those girls are best friends, the other girl (Girl B) is like Girl A's cousin!

ive been in one.. wen my bf broke up wid me cuz he wanted this other gurl.. then i didnt want to give him up so i fought for him.. then i wanted him to be jealous so i dated another guy.. and it worked.. hehe.. and now were together again.. oh yeh!

I was in a love triangle before. My BF and I were on a break because of a very stupid fight. I got kinda depressed and my friend, who is also my BF's friend, was there to cheer me up and stuff. And then one day he sorta slipped out that he loved me... Then I found out I liked him too...

Then my BF and I had a talk and we got back together. I told him about my friend though. And they ended up fighting... Like Jackie said, it's like you like both of them for different reasons... So it was kinda hard to choose... But I chose my BF. Now that we've broken up, I can't help but wonder, would things have been different if I had chose the other guy?
