for one thing, how old are you? ask your dad to talk to her? it's not that hard to ask, and you'll be relieved when you do. and about her embarrassing you, just talk to her about it

just ask her, no harm in trying. and if she says no just give her reasons and try to convince her. thats how i got my mom to agree.

your mommy should know about these things better than us sweets. just tell her that the hair on your legs really bother you and make you self conscious.

Yeah don't get nervous. Mothers love you and will care for you so don't get nervous about how she reacts when you tell her about your hair problem. Even if she tells everyone it's just proof that she's proud of you.

Talk talk talk talk talk.
How else is your mom going to know that you don't like the hair on your legs?
If you feel that you are at an age where you should be shaving, then by god, TALK TO HER!

lol when I first read the post. My first thought that came to mind was you asking your mom if you could shave down there.... I didn't think it would be mean your legs.... or is it really down there.... or do I just have a dirty mind? lol

^I think you just have a dirty mind, lol.
Well first of all, do you really NEED to shave? Or do you want to do it because it's new and grown up or whatever. I remember wanting to shave when i was young, and I really didn't need to.
So take your Need and Age in consideration here before asking her.
It's different when you have to as you get older, you'd be wishing you didn't have to shave. It can be annoying after a while.
But just ask your mom about it, I don't think she'll freak, But if she says ur too young then respect that and just wait until it really is necessary to shave.

OK OK. before you absolutely think you'd die without being able to shave your legs. let me tell you something.
when i was in FIFTH grade, i was like I NEED to shave haha. and i was like hairless, you could barely see the hairs on my legs. soo, i told my mom, my mom as like blahblahblah you can't shave and all this other biz.
SOO, i [ dun dun dun ] got a shaverrazor A HELLA GOOD ONE TOO. that green schick one. hella jeezy. haha but anyways, so i started to shave.
ANDDD my mother found out! yay for me, right? okay, and like all my other friends that started to shave told me that when they're madres found out they were like eh, you're old enough and then they were able to shave.
NOT MEE! yay again. and now, looking back. i would say shaving my legs was one of the worst things i could've done. im still not allowed to shave, but i have hella razors in my drawer. however, i CHOOSE not to shave anymore. sounds sick, right? but not really. cause if your mom thinks that you don't need to shave.
you seriously don't need to shave.
plus, if you think you have hairy legs but you don't really. you're really gonna regret it later. like me! i'm a freshman now, and i could really care less about shaving my legs. haha
okay thanks for your time.
